Kanji ‘Jeet Kune Do’ Symbol Men’s Bracelet: Jeet Kune Do (JKD) – literally translated means ‘Way of the Intercepting Fist’.
Created by Bruce Lee, Jeet Kune Do was founded on the principles of taking the best and most useful elements from other martial arts and adapting them into an individual style.
Trained in Wing Chun, Bruce Lee added elements from Western boxing, Western fencing and martial arts like Jujitsu and Kung Fu to creat JKD.
Jeet Kune Do as with other martial arts is a philosphy and life style of self-discipline and physical training. Jeet Kune Do differs in that it realizes that practitioners are individuals and must ‘take that which is useful and discard that which is not’. JKD is therefore unique to each practioner.
Jeet Kune Do practioners train in an environment that helps them develop spontaneous and deceptive combat skills with an emphasis on adapting to different situations.
Wear your Jeet Kune Do necklace proudly – honor JKD and it’s founder Bruce Lee.
All of our necklaces are separately crafted and hand painted and with the use of traditional Chinese knots, each necklace is it’s own minature piece of art. No two Kanji necklaces are alike – each is as different as the person that wears them.
